Run a coaching session

ForManagersAdmins

A coaching session is a short, live conversation between you and one rep. Arcade shows you a guide of steps and records the conversation. After the session, the AI gives you feedback and drafts an action plan for the rep.

  1. On the check-in of the rep, select a session in COACH NAME NEXT. Refer to Prepare with a check-in.
  2. Select Start in person.

With Start in person, the session runs and records only on your device, with audio only, so the rep does not have to open Arcade.

Start remote stays dim, and it does not start a session. Start each session in person.

Arcade records the person who starts the session as the coach, and the AI scores that person. So start the session on your own device, with your own account.

Your organization can show a message before each session.

The guide shows the steps of the session in order, with a time for each step. The steps are an outline, not a script:

  • Say each step in your own words.
  • Ask questions, and let the rep do most of the talking. The AI checks how much of the time you talk. Refer to Read the feedback on your coaching.
  • You do not have to keep the order of the steps. Select a later step to read it. This does not change the step that you are on.

The check marks of the steps are only a help for you. Arcade does not save them, and they do not change your score.

Some minutes after the session ends:

  • Your score shows on the Coach tab.
  • The rep moves to COACHED.
  • Arcade drafts an action plan for the rep from what you agreed. Refer to Team commitments.

If the conversation is too short, the AI gives no score and drafts no plan. Refer to How coaching works.
