Use the mobile app
On a phone, you use Arcade in the Arcade AI app. The app uses the same account as the web app, so your training, tokens, and progress are the same in both.
Install the app
Section titled “Install the app”Install the Arcade AI app from the App Store or from Google Play. The web app does not open in the browser of a phone.
Sign in on your phone
Section titled “Sign in on your phone”Sign in with the same email address and password as on the web. For the first sign-in, see Sign in to Arcade.
You can open an invitation link or a password link on your phone before you install the app. The link opens in the browser of your phone:
- Set your password in the browser. The install screen then opens.
- Install the app.
- In the app, sign in with your email address and the new password.
Allow notifications and the microphone
Section titled “Allow notifications and the microphone”- Notifications. Allow notifications when the app asks. If you do not, you get no push notifications.
- Microphone and camera. AI practice sessions and coaching sessions use your microphone. A remote coaching session also asks for your camera.
If you refused the microphone or the camera before, select Go to Settings, and allow them in the settings of your phone. For more help, see Microphone and audio.
Find your way in the app
Section titled “Find your way in the app”On the Home tab, the card with your name opens your profile. If you are a manager, the same card has the Manage button, because Manage is not in the tab bar.
Some pages of Manage show only on a computer. See Manage your team on a phone.
Keep the app up to date
Section titled “Keep the app up to date”When Arcade stops support for your version of the app, the Update Arcade AI screen opens. You cannot use the app until you install the new version from the store. See Troubleshooting.
Good to know
Section titled “Good to know”- If sessions do not connect on your network, run the network check. Select the settings button, then Network Check. Send the report to your IT team. See Troubleshooting.
- A public link to a session and the network check page still open in the browser of a phone. They do not need the app.
