AI credits
AI credits pay for AI practice. Credits are not tokens: tokens pay for prizes and rewards, and credits pay only for the time that people practice with the AI.
Find out what uses credits
Section titled “Find out what uses credits”AI Training, AI Roleplay, and Quick Play sessions use credits. Certifications that people complete with the AI also use credits. AI onboarding sessions are free.
Arcade bills one credit for each whole minute of a session. It does not bill the seconds after the last whole minute. The details of each session show the credits that it used. Refer to Session details.
When your balance has too few credits, people cannot start an AI session. Arcade shows them a message.
Buy AI credits
Section titled “Buy AI credits”Select Buy credits, enter the minutes, and select Pay. A secure payment page opens in your browser. To buy the same number of minutes for each active user, select Minutes per user in the menu of the Minutes to purchase field.
The credits show in your balance when Arcade gets the payment. If the payment takes a long time, do not pay again. A larger purchase can have a lower price for each credit.
Set monthly limits
Section titled “Set monthly limits”A limit is the maximum number of credits that a rep can use in a month. Use limits to share the credits across your teams, so that a small number of reps cannot use all of them.
On the USAGE THIS MONTH card, select Set limits. If your organization already has limits, select Manage limits, then Add limits. With By team, you can also set a MONTHLY TEAM BUDGET (OPTIONAL): the credits that all the members of the team share.
When a rep gets to a limit, the rep cannot start an AI session until the limits start again. The limits start again when your plan credits refresh. Without a plan, they start again on the first day of each month.
- A limit for Everyone or for Selected reps gives each of those reps a limit of their own. A rep who joins later has no limit from it.
- The limit of a rep comes before the limits of their teams. A rep on more than one team gets the lowest limit of those teams.
- A team budget stops all the members of the team when they use it, but not a rep who has a limit of their own. The usage of that rep still counts in the team budget.
- The total of all the limits can be more than your balance. You pay only for the credits that people use.
Get an alert before the credits run out
Section titled “Get an alert before the credits run out”Set the alert level in Manage alerts, on the USAGE THIS MONTH card. When the balance goes below that level, the Champions and the Company Managers get a notification with a Buy credits link. Arcade sends it one time. When the balance is above that level again, for example after you buy credits, the alert is ready again.
Good to know
Section titled “Good to know”- To start a plan or change it, select Talk to sales or Manage plan, and send an email to Arcade. A plan gives credits each month at a lower price.
- The plan payment method is the card or the bank account that pays the monthly plan fee. When you select it, Arcade does not charge it. Your Arcade contact decides when automatic billing starts.
