The Home tab
Home is the first screen that you see in Arcade. Use it to start the training that is next for you, and to read the news of your organization in the feed.
Start your next task
Section titled “Start your next task”Your Takeaways shows a card for each task that Arcade suggests for you now. Most cards are the next step of one of your pathways. A card can also tell you about a game that started, or ask you to meet your AI coach.
If you paused the session of a step, the button on its card is Resume. You can then continue the paused session or start a new one.
Later moves a card to the end of the list. It does not remove the card. A training card goes away when you complete the step, and the card of the next step of that pathway comes in its place.
Read the feed
Section titled “Read the feed”The feed has the posts of your organization: news from managers and colleagues, and the updates that Arcade posts, for example recognition and token gifts. An admin chooses which types of updates Arcade posts for the whole organization, in Org Settings.
On a phone, select Feed at the top of Home to see the posts.
A post that a person writes for some teams shows only in the feeds of those teams. The posts that players write in a game show in the feed of that game, not on Home. Refer to Games.
Post news for your teams
Section titled “Post news for your teams”By default, Company Managers and higher roles can post. Your organization can let other roles post to the whole organization or to team feeds. When you can post, the feed shows What’s on your mind?. If you can post only to team feeds, select Team Feeds and a team first.
Select What’s on your mind?, enter your text, and select Share. Each photo or file can be 50 MB or less. To send the post to some teams only, select them under All teams. If you select no team, the post goes to your whole organization.
Each person who gets the post also gets a notification about it, and an email when their email notifications are on.
Delete a post or a comment
Section titled “Delete a post or a comment”- You can delete your own posts and comments.
- By default, Company Managers and higher roles can delete all posts and comments, also the posts that Arcade makes.
Good to know
Section titled “Good to know”- After a session, the card of that step goes away while Arcade assesses the session. If the session does not count, the card comes back. Refer to I finished a session. Why didn’t it count?.
- If you leave a live session before it ends, select Return to session to go back.
- On a phone, managers open Manage from the Manage button on their card at the top of Home. Refer to Why don’t I see Insights, Coach, or Manage?.
