Buy and track tokens

Your organization buys the tokens that pay for game prizes, gifts from managers, and rewards. Use these pages to buy tokens, to make sure that the balance does not run out, and to correct a transfer. To learn how tokens move between the accounts, read Tokens, games, and rewards.

Before you start

You need the Team Manager role or a higher role, and rewards must be on for your organization. The pages are in the TOKENS section of Manage. Open them on a computer.

Buy tokens

You buy tokens for the company account or for your personal balance. One dollar buys 100 tokens.

Choose how to pay:

• With a card, the tokens arrive when the charge completes. A 5% fee applies, unless your organization does not pay this fee.
• With a bank account, there is no fee. But a bank transfer can take up to 5 business days.

Go to Manage›Buy Tokens. When you add a card or a bank account, a secure payment page opens in your browser.

Do not buy again while a bank transfer is in progress. The tokens show in the balance when the payment completes.

Set up an automatic recharge

A recharge buys tokens when the balance of an account goes below a number that you set. Set one up for the company account before you run a game that has no fixed cost. For example, a game that pays for every sale has no fixed cost.

Go to Manage›Token Recharges.

The amount to buy must be more tokens than the balance that starts the refill. Each account can have one recharge: one for the company account and one for your personal balance. If the balance is already below your number, the recharge buys tokens immediately. While a refill is in progress, for example a bank transfer, the recharge does not buy again.

Reverse a transaction

A reversal sends the tokens of a transfer back to the account that sent them. Use it, for example, for a gift or a game prize that went to the wrong person. You can reverse a transaction only in these conditions:

• The transaction is from the last 30 days.
• The transaction is not from the Arcade account, for example a token purchase.
• Nobody reversed it before.

A reversal cannot make the balance of a person less than zero. If the person already spent the tokens, the reversal does not complete. You cannot undo a reversal. To take tokens from a person without a reversal, refer to Remove tokens from a person.

Good to know

• Only Champions can set up a recharge for the company account. Other managers can set up a recharge for their personal balance.
• When the company balance goes below the alert level, the Champions and the Company Managers get the notification “Low company balance”. Arcade sets the alert level. To change it, contact Arcade support.
• Arcade can pause the automatic recharges of your organization. Then the recharges stay, but they do not buy tokens, and you cannot add a recharge.
