Org Settings

Use Org Settings when you set up Arcade.

Before you start

You need the Champion role. Org Settings is in the ADMIN section of Manage. It does not show on a phone or in a narrow browser window, so use a computer.

Go to Manage›ADMIN›Org Settings.

Choose who people can see

The directory setting controls who people see in the directory: everyone in the organization, or only the people of their own teams. It applies to each role below Company Manager. Company Managers and Champions always see all people.

Select the team option when your stores must not see the people of other stores. For what people see, read Find a colleague in the directory.

Two more settings control what people can change:

• Who a Team Manager can add to the teams that they manage: all people, or only the members of the teams that they manage.
• If people can change their own name and email address.

Choose what Arcade posts to the feed

Arcade posts updates to the feed of the organization, for example a recognition star or a game update. If your organization connects a Slack or GroupMe channel, Arcade also posts them there.

The feed settings apply to all people in the organization. Arcade never posts about a product that your organization does not use, for example games. For the feed, read The Home tab.

Set up the recognition stars

Recognition stars are the stars that people give each other for good work. Make stars that match the values of your company, for example a star for teamwork.

When you remove a star, people cannot give it any more. The stars that people already gave stay.

You can also give a chest with each star. Then each person who gets a star also gets a chest of 50 tokens. The tokens come from the company balance, so check the balance before you turn this on. For more, read Give recognition and tokens.

Set the time zone

Arcade uses the time zone of your organization for daily summaries, reporting periods, and scheduled notifications. Set it to the time zone where most of your people work.

Good to know

• Arcade sets the name of your organization when it makes your account. To change the name, speak to Arcade support.
• If a person is in the wrong teams, the directory setting can hide people from them. Check their teams first. Read Create and manage teams.
