Check and correct sales

ForManagersAdmins

Games score people on activities. An activity is one result for a metric, for example one boot fitting or three protection plans. Most activities come from the sales data of your company. Use this page to find out why a score looks wrong, and to correct the activity.

Arcade adds the activities when the sales data of your company arrives. How often the data arrives depends on the connection of your company, not on the game. So the scores of a short game can stay empty until the first data arrives.

An activity keeps the date of the sale. If it arrives after the end date of a game, it still counts in that game until someone verifies the game. So verify a game only after the data of its last days is in Arcade. Refer to Verify a game.

When a sale did not count in a game, find its activity and examine these points:

  • The metric: a game counts only the activities of its metrics.
  • The date: the date of the activity must be inside the dates of the game. If the game ended early, the date must be before that end.
  • The person: in a game for people, the person must play in the game.
  • The team: in a team game, an activity counts for the team on the activity. So a sale at a different store counts for that store, not for the team of the rep. To change this for a team, read Why didn’t my game pay out?.

When an activity has the wrong person, team, metric, number, or date, edit it. Arcade then calculates the scores again in each game that counts the activity, until someone verifies that game. A game that someone already verified does not change.

  • To add a sale that is not in your sales data, add an activity by hand.
  • You cannot undo the delete of an activity.
  • To change a result in one game only, do not edit the activity. Revise the score of the player in that game before you verify it.
