Buy and redeem rewards

The Rewards tab is the store where you spend your tokens on gift cards and other rewards. A reward has two steps. First you buy it with tokens. Then you redeem it: you open its redemption link from the Purchases tab.

Before you start

Your organization must use rewards. If you do not see the Rewards tab, rewards are off for your organization or your team. The rewards in the store depend on your organization and your region.

Buy a reward

1. Go to Rewards›Shop, and select a reward.
2. Select an amount.
3. Make sure that the reward and the amount are correct. You cannot change them after the purchase.
4. Select Redeem reward.

1. Select "Cash Out" to change your tokens into money.

The Redeem reward button buys the reward. Arcade takes the tokens from your balance immediately, and then it sends the reward. When the app shows “It’s yours”, the purchase is complete. You can open the reward later from the Purchases tab. Arcade sends you a notification when it delivers a reward.

Caution

You cannot cancel a purchase. If Arcade cannot deliver the reward, it does not give back the tokens automatically. Read I bought a reward. Where is it?

See your purchases

Go to Rewards›Purchases. Your cash outs also show here.

The redemption page of a gift card opens in your web browser. The Redeem Now button stays on the card, so you can open the reward again later.

The status tells you what to do:

Status	What to do
Pending	Wait. Arcade did not send the reward yet, and it tries again automatically.
Failed	Arcade could not send the reward. Arcade support gets a message and works on the problem.

If your reward is not on the Purchases tab

If the app showed “Something went wrong” when you bought the reward, do not buy it again. Arcade can take the tokens before the error occurs. To find out what to do, read I bought a reward. Where is it?
