Skills are the abilities that the AI rates after AI sessions and coaching sessions, for example active listening. Each learner gets a score from 1 to 100 for each skill. Use the Skills page to choose the skills that matter to your organization and to tell the AI what to look for.

Your organization starts with the skill library of Arcade. You can change an Arcade skill, add your own skills, and turn off the skills that you do not need. Each change applies only to your organization. To learn how sessions change skill scores, refer to Pathways, skills, and certifications.

Select New, then Skill. In Description, enter what the AI must look for. If you select no role, the skill applies to all roles.

The AI rates the skill against its description. Describe what a person says or does when they use the skill well.

When a pathway has matched skills, the AI rates those skills for all its learners, and the roles do not apply. Refer to How steps connect to skills.

When you edit an Arcade skill, it shows Customized, and the change applies only to your organization.

In the details of the skill:

  • For an Arcade skill or a customized skill, select Turn off for this org. The AI stops rating the skill in new sessions, and Arcade keeps the scores.
  • For a skill that your organization added, Delete custom skill also deletes all the scores of the skill.

To put a skill in a group, edit the skill. You can rename any group, but you can delete only a group that your organization added. When you delete a group, its skills move to Ungrouped.

A proficiency tier is a name for a range of skill scores. Profiles and the details of each skill show the tiers.

To change the tiers, select Edit tiers in PROFICIENCY TIERS.

A change to the tiers does not change a score. It changes only the tier that people see for the score.

ORG AVG in the library is the average score of the people that you manage, so two managers can see different values.
