What is Arcade
Arcade is a training platform for sales and frontline teams. Learners practice real customer conversations with an AI, managers coach their teams, and people earn tokens that they spend on rewards. Read this page first to see how the parts work together.
How Arcade works
Section titled “How Arcade works”Most organizations use the parts of Arcade in this order:
- A manager gives training. A manager or an admin makes a pathway, or lets AI make a first draft, and assigns it to learners. A pathway is a series of steps, for example a lesson, an AI practice session, and a certification. See From draft to learner.
- Learners practice. Learners do their steps on the Train tab. In an AI practice session, the learner speaks with an AI customer, as in a real conversation. See How AI roleplays work.
- The AI gives feedback. After a session, the AI scores the conversation and tells the learner what to do better. See How AI scoring works.
- Managers coach. Managers see the results of their teams in Insights. When your organization uses coaching, managers also prepare and run coaching sessions on the Coach tab. See How coaching works.
- People earn rewards. People earn tokens in games and from colleagues, and spend them in the rewards store. See Tokens, games, and rewards.
Your organization decides which of these parts it uses. For example, if your organization does not use games, you do not see the Games tab.
Start with your role
Section titled “Start with your role”- Learners: sign in, and open the Train tab to see your training. See The Train tab.
- Managers: give training to your teams, and follow their results in Insights. See Assign a pathway and Insights.
- Admins: set up your organization, and give each person the correct role. See Org settings and Roles and permissions.
Your role decides which tabs you see. See Roles and access.
Use Arcade on a computer or a phone
Section titled “Use Arcade on a computer or a phone”On a computer or a tablet, use Arcade in a web browser. On a phone, use the Arcade AI app for iPhone or Android, because the web app does not open in the browser of a phone. You use the same account in both places, and you keep the same progress.
