Why don't I see Insights, Coach, or Manage?

ForLearnersManagersAdmins

Arcade shows Coach, Insights, and Manage only to Team Managers and higher roles. Coach and Insights also show only when their sections are on for you.

If your role is Learner or Team Ambassador, you do not see these three items. You see the same tabs as a Learner.

Ask a Company Manager or a Champion to change your role. Refer to Change the role of a person.

Coaching is off by default. If you see Insights and Manage but not Coach, coaching is not on for your organization or your team.

Arcade turns on coaching. Speak to your Arcade customer success manager. Refer to The Coach tab.

Each report in Insights shows only when its section is on for you:

Report Shows when
Overview, Activity Training is on.
Engagement Rewards is on.
Performance, Analyze Games and sales are on. These reports show only on a computer.

When no report applies to you, the Insights tab does not show. For example, if your organization uses games and sales, but not training or rewards, you see Insights on a computer but not on a phone.

Arcade can set the sections for one team. These team settings replace the settings of your organization for the people on that team and on the teams below it. If you are on more than one of these teams, a section is on when one of the teams turns it on.

Arcade uses only the teams that you are a member of. A team that you manage, but are not a member of, does not change your sections.

So a manager on a different team can see a tab that you do not see. To change the sections of a team, speak to your Arcade customer success manager.

On a phone, Manage is not in the tab bar. Go to the Home tab. Then select Manage on the card with your name. A narrow browser window works the same way. Refer to Open Manage.

These Manage pages do not show on a phone: Learners, Teams, Metrics, Org Settings, and the pages below GAMES and TOKENS. Use a computer for these pages.

  • You are a member of the team, but not its manager. Membership of a team does not make you its manager. In Manage, a team that you do not manage is not in your list. Ask a Company Manager or a Champion to make you a manager of the team. Refer to The people and teams that each role manages.
  • The person has a role that you do not manage. A Team Manager manages only the people with the Learner role. For example, a Team Manager does not see the Team Ambassadors of the team. A Team Admin also manages Team Managers. Refer to The people that you see.
  • You use a phone. The Learners and Teams pages do not show on a phone.
